Rodney Adams - Maverick Printer

4th September 2026

Following our Summer Break, we return with more inspirations to share. We take a Moment of Recognition for Rodney Adams who passed on 19th May, 2026

A man with Purpose and integrity, and the kind of irreverent, mischievous Spirit we at WoR celebrate. From printing Tshirts by hand in the punk music scene in London, he went on to produce Tshirts for movements and charities dedicated to transforming people’s attitudes and raising consciousness. One of which was the anti-apartheid movement - Nelson Mandela, after his release, came to the printing studio in London to express his gratitude to Adams and team for their memorable Tshirts that were recognisable globally.

Later in life he devoted himself to Taoism, Buddhism and T’ai Ch’i, recognising and inhabiting Spirit in the flow, stillness and seeming chaos of life.

We bow our heads in respect and invite you to enjoy a moment of mischievous mindfulness with Rodney at rush-hour on London Bridge - watch here.
