A poet who has inspired us here at WoR for many years through his honest and evocative exploration of his deeply personal struggles with life and illness, as he wrestles with knowing the Self and Life’s purposes and meaning.  

Christian Wiman is one of those irreverant yet deeply reverent wise guides; a blessing to have by our side, especially on this day.

His poetry invites us into experiencing and recognising mystical experiences through suffering and the confrontation with the great Unknowns of life. He calls us out of the realms of hopelessness, cynicism and control into real joy, hope and faith.
