My Fleeting House

17th April 2026

An evocative ballad by Tim Buckley from 1966, capturing the longing of the heart to be connected and in union. Something so present for us as our world faces the forces of division and separation.

The ‘fleeting house’; a beautiful metaphor capturing the fragility and transience of the physical reality we inhabit, inviting us to find an abode of substance that will hold us whatever wind may blow.

We love this version by Chrissie Hynde. Haunting, intriguing and soulful, Chrissie elevates the song beyond its folk roots. With a warmth and longing in the song that only comes with her voice - its a perfect union of song and songstress. An evocation for the soul!

Let your heart feel its longings.
