Sweet Dreams of Moon Joy
9th April 2026
When the astronaut team of Artemis II came from behind the dark side of the moon, having spent hours observing its beauty physically closer than any other human being, Mission Control bid them goodnight with “Sweet dreams of Moon joy”.
What a loving and beautiful night time blessing!
The Moon is not usually associated with Joy, a feeling much more symbolic of the Sun and its energy. Yet, dancing under moonlight and bathing in the light of the full moon are ways we experience a deep enjoyment of the subtle, sensitive, luminous lunar light that resonates deep within the spirit.
The Moon’s significance is celebrated more in the East than the West in an honouring of its sacred timings and energy. The Moon has her own force-field, a gravitational force that has a substantial role in Earth-life.
We invite you to delight in Moon-joy at this time of recognition of our meaningful relationship with this constant presence in our lives.
