Roger Robinson - A Portable Paradise

“I want these poems to help people to practise empathy.” Roger Robinson is an inspirited, generous poet and educator; mentoring others, teaching creativity, empathy and honesty. 

His collection, A Portable Paradise, won the 2019 T. S. Eliot Prize and the Royal Society of Literature’s Ondaatje Prize 2020 for a distinguished work evoking the spirit of a place. This collection also holds heart-wrenching poems honouring the people of  the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
