“Melt the world away, lose its details, dissolve its borders’ a description of Mark Rothkos paintings at the retrospective in Paris this year of this remarkable artist. Looking out at the sea at sunset, i was transported into a live Rothko masterpiece made by Nature. It is a reminder of a quote by Rothko “If people want sacred experiences they will find them here. If they want profane experiences, they’ll find them too.”
